I'm Khalid Mahmud, a Computer Science & Engineering undergraduate who enjoys turning ambiguous requirements into software that actually works. My background covers the full stack — designing APIs and data models on the backend, and building fast, accessible interfaces on the front end.
I care about readable code, sensible architecture, and shipping things that are easy to maintain a year from now. Lately I've been going deeper into system design, cloud infrastructure, and developer tooling.
I'm also the Founder & CEO of ekByteForge, a software company where I lead a small team building web, mobile and cloud products for startups and businesses — from first commit to production launch.

What's your typical project process?
Most engagements start with a short discovery call to scope requirements, followed by a proposal with timeline and cost. Once approved, I work in short milestones with regular check-ins so you always know where things stand.
Do you work with startups, or only larger businesses?
Both. Through ekByteForge I work with early-stage founders who need an MVP built fast, as well as established businesses that need a specific product or system built or modernized.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope — a focused MVP can take 3–6 weeks, while a larger product typically runs 2–4 months. I'll give you a realistic estimate after the discovery call, not before.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes. Every project includes a post-launch support window, and I offer ongoing maintenance and improvement retainers for clients who want a long-term partner.
